Ideal for Off Road, Mountain, Hard Core Off Road
Tough, rugged, and ready for anything, this mountain bike is dropped from the sky to land prepared for action
The speed of unfolding this bike for riding will blow you away. No tools required to fold and stash in your vehicle. The X5 Paratrooper® comes equipped with front suspension, 24-speed SRAM X5 derailleur and shifters and knobbly tyres to tackle the roughest terrain.
The ever popular Montague X5 Paratrooper acts as a reminder of the brand's distinguished military heritage. The 2009 Paratrooper also benefits from the addition of a replaceable derailleur hanger on the frame (for those unexpected singletrack moments!) and all also now features rear frame mounts and disc-compatible hubs, for upgrading to a disc brake on the back wheel if desired.

Featuring a rugged Rockshox Tora front fork, Truvativ Blaze Crank and additional rear disc brake, the X5 TORA is a hard hitting off-roader with all the military heritage built in.
The 24 speed X5 Tora looks great with its ‘Scotchbrite’ polished aluminium top-tube and gloss black rear triangle and, like the Paratrooper and Swissbike LX models, it also benefits from a replaceable derailleur hanger.
