It is so simple and easy to use, I tested it using the very fine seed of Lobelia, with the fine probe it picked up and placed 4-5 seeds at a time with ease and precision. Invented by a Gardener, the seed sower will make an ideal gift for the gardener.
Instructions Place the seeds in a white or coloured saucer. Supplied with 2 probes select the appropriate one for the size of seed and connect it to the flexible tube. Rest the end of the tube over or close to the seed and apply gentle suction, the seed will be picked up, stop the suction and the seed will drop from the probe where you require it.
Using the precision seed sower you can make your own seed tapes with ease placing the seed at the required distance apart on the tapes.
The seed sower is fitted with an ultra fine (400 micron) filter between the mouthpiece and silicon tube.
Precision Seed Sower supplied in Presentation Case with Instructions £13.50

The cultural information should be used as a guide only, I have found a number of different sowing techniques for the same seed from different sources there does not seem to be a standard. With this in mind you should use this website as a guide only, you probably already have a tried and tested way of sowing different seeds. As a rule of thumb the larger the seed size the more cover it requires, and fine seed like Lobelia Begonia etc requires no cover.
