For
late
spring crops sow late winter (under cloches) to
spring, for cropping Autumn onwards sow midsummer, position in a
sunny sheltered site, sow thinly 1cm deep, in rows 20-25cm apart
thin to 15cm apart. Sow every 14 days in succession for continual harvest
throughout the growing season.
Sow radish as a catch crop between rows.

Hesperis matronalis Av 100 seeds Dame's Violet, Sweet Rocket, Dame's Rocket, Garden Rocket A mixture of violet and white flowers. The young leaves are used in salads as a cress substitute, it is more pungent than rocket or cress and is used sparingly. Was once used dried on board ship as they are rich in vitamin C. The leaves are picked prior to flowering. It is a short lived perennial and is often grown as a biennial. During summer evenings the flowers give off an intense fragrance. A good attractor for bees, butterflies and moths. Prefers a well drained site in sun or part shade. The cultural
information should be used as a guide only, I have found a number
of different sowing techniques for the same seed from different
sources there does not seem to be a standard. With this in mind
you should use this website as a guide only, you probably already
have a tried and tested way of sowing different seeds. As a rule
of thumb the larger the seed size the more cover it requires, and
fine seed like Lobelia Begonia etc requires no cover.
